Autograph, 1982, James A. Michener Autograph. Signed on a bookplate on the third page of his 1982 book "SPACE" (1982, First Edition, 622pp., hard with dust jacket (faults). He has inscribed the bookplate: "To Deke Slayton / the Champ, James A. Michner". His red chinese "chop" is at the lower left. This is a classic "space" genre book with minor foxing on the page edges, but in great overall condition.
