Pair Of Unhatched Therizinosaur Eggs. Therizinosaur was a most bizarre and unusual looking dinosaur with some characteristics of a meat-eating dinosaur, such as walking bipedally and having large sharp claws, and some of a plant-eater, including a small head, long neck, and flat teeth. In addition, at least one species of Therizinosaur was feathered. This matched pair of unhatched eggs are each 4 x 3.75 inches and remain in their original 8.5 x 4 inch red stone matrix. The gray eggs maintain 50-70% of their original shell, which is layered under thin sections of stone matrix. Embryos have been found in a small percentage of this type of egg, but these specimens have not been x-rayed. Found in the Xixia Basin of the Henan Province of China, this specimen is estimated to be about 70-80 million years old.
