Robinson, Edward G (1893-1973) Actor famous for gangster roles. An archive of 1934-35 correspondence with producer Lester Cowan including three autograph letters signed, from Robinson to Cowan, total of 8 pages, regarding possible projects, dealings with studios, etc, 2 telegrams signed "Eddie" in type, an 8 page carbon copy of a memorandum for services performed by Cowan for Robinson, and a 1935 affidavit filed by Cowan from the California Superior Court: "Petition For An Order Directing Arbitration." All fine. In 1935, Cowan would produce The Whole Town's Talking, the film which would revive Robinson's career.
