1802 Draped Bust Half Dollar. . O-101. PCGS graded EF-45. CAC Approved. A very pleasing example, well struck with medium antique toning o both sides. A total of 29,890 were struck. Production in 1802 of 29,890 was completed using a single obverse die and a single reverse die which was first placed into use in 1802 (reverse B). Mint State specimens are quite rare, however the availability of lower circulated specimens has designated this single variety as only scarce. The Parsley Condition Census is 58-45-45-45-40, putting this squarely in the middle of the coveted list. Pop 12; 20 finer (PCGS # 6065) .
