1815 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-63 B-1. A choice brilliant uncirculated example, well struck, frosty and untoned. A tiny mark in the field below the E of E PLURIBUS -- possibly restricting the grade from one that would be a point higher. A glittering lightly toned Mint State with intense luster, a bold strike, and eye appeal that just won't quit! Only 89,235 pieces struck, making this one of the low mintage years in the interrupted large size, capped bust 1815-1828 series. Pop 8; 26 finer (PCGS # 5321) .
