1937-D Buffalo Nickel. 3 legs. PCGS graded AU-50. Housed in an old green holder. Lightly toned with a couple of fine lines in the upper portion of the hair on the obverse. Lustrous. Very few high-end specimens were saved in the 1930s, which explains the paucity of 3-legs nickels graded higher than VF or EF (PCGS # 3982) .
