1955 Lincoln Cent. Doubled die obverse. NGC graded AU-50 Brown. A nice example whose surfaces are a pleasing reddish maghony brown hue. A few light marks on the obverse (one above Lincoln's ear). Scarce. These first appeared in the area around Boston in 1955 and caused a riot of activity among collectors and non collectors alike hoping to find one (PCGS # 2827) .
