1846 N-25 R5. VG-10. Tall Date. A couple points sharper but lightly cleaned and retoned glossy steel and light chocolate brown with hints of lighter reddish steel brown toning in a couple of the protected areas as evidence of the earlier cleaning. No spots or corrosion. A thin diagonal nick in the field right of the inner curl and a nick on the right pendant of the T in UNITED are the notable marks. M-LDS, die state c. Tied for CC#6 of this tough die variety with several other examples.
