1839/6 N-1 R3+ Overdate 9 over 6. Fine-12. Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate delicately woodgrained with slightly darker chocolate on both sides. The surfaces are smooth and offer excellent eye appeal. The only mark is a barely visible rim bruise under the 8 in the date. Late die state with a strong bisecting die crack across the obverse. A very nice middle-grade example of this popular overdate variety.
