1799 S-189 R2. NGC graded VF-20. Glossy olive and chocolate brown. No roughness or verdigris, but there are some light contact marks. Both sides display minor nicks and several light rim bruises, none distracting but too many to ignore. A couple good identifying marks are a diagonal nick on the bottom of the second 9 in the date and a light rim bruise at the second A in AMERICA. The date and legends are complete and easily readable. MDS. The die lump over the T in CENT is present. A nice example of this key date in the Large cent series. EAC grade Fine-12.
