1795 S-78 R1 Plain Edge. NGC graded EF-45. Glossy chocolate brown with traces of lighter brown and tan in protected areas from an old cleaning. No corrosion or notable signs of contact, but there are some tiny planchet voids on the obverse, mostly at the cap and around TY in LIBERTY, as struck. MDS, Breen state III, with a tiny lump on the lower edge of the jaw near the throat and delicate swelling in the obverse fields. EAC grade net VF30. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
