1809 C-3 R1 Double Struck. Good-4. Glossy chocolate and dark steel brown. No defects other than a couple small nicks inside the wreath. Boldly double struck. The initial strike was properly centered but the struck planchet failed to eject completely and a second strike occurred 80% off center to K-4. Evidence of the second strike is boldly displayed on the reverse. A neat mint error.
