1805 C-2 R5 Small 5 with Stems Fine-. Fine-12 Plus. Sharpness VF20 or slightly better and choice except for several fine pinscratches in the hair with a couple extending into the field behind the head. Otherwise this piece is outstanding and would be a contender for finest known honors. Glossy chocolate and steel with frosty luster showing in protected areas, especially on the reverse. Nicely struck EDS, Manley state 1.0. Everything is boldly struck except for HALF CENT, which is always relatively weak. The reverse is rotated 15 degrees CCW.
