Great Britain. Crown, ND. S.2753; Dav-3761. Charles I, 1625-1649. Tower mint, under the King. Mint mark, lis (1625). Group 1. King, crowned, on horseback, with armour and sword above shoulder. The horse richly caparisoned with plume over its head and rear. Reverse Long cross fourchee over square garnished shield. Reverse legend reads: CHRISTO AUSPICE REGNO (I reign under the auspices of Christ). Evenly worn, problem free and toned. NGC graded VG-8.
