Great Britain. Crown, 1601. S.2582; Dav-3757. Elizabeth I, 1558-1603. Sixth issue. Mint mark 1. Obverse: Crowned bust of Queen left holding scepter and orb. Reverse Shield over long cross fourchee. Deeply toned, this specimen is struck on a large round flan with a strong portrait and all lettering well defined. Good overall eye appeal. Elizabeth I Crowns are becoming difficult to obtain in any grade above Fine. NGC graded EF-45.
