1853 Dollar Octagonal. PCGS graded AU-58. Attractive natural antique toning with very pleasing lustrous sheen. The portrait is sharply impressed by the die. Sharp date, denomination, and legends. Another Nouizillet-struck variety. The Liberty head the same as on this makers round and octagonal 50c denominations. Pop 104; 88 better (PCGS # 10507) .
