Lot 1717

1904 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Intensely lustrous with lovely natural golden toning. Velvety to satin-like fields almost stagger under the weight of its highly lustrous gold color. It is also nice to say we are pleased to see a strike faithful to every detail from a full blow by the dies, with marvelously crisp detail found at both portraits of the two Louisiana Purchase explorers (PCGS # 7447) .
Estimated Value $3,300 - 3,500.
