1925-S $20 St. Gaudens. NCS graded About Uncirculated Details, improperly cleaned. The 1925-S is another of the scarcer mass-melted branch mint Saint-Gaudens $20s from this decade that actually circulated to any appreciable extent. Most specimens that are offered grade Extremely Fine or About Uncirculated, with marginal quality uncirculated pieces being for the most part elusive. This example is well struck on the highest points and has reddish-gold surfaces (PCGS # 9182) .
