1922 $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-65. A gem double eagle. Impressively preserved on the obverse, the resounding gold tone resonates to the eye. As for the reverse, the eagle flies through a smooth golden sky with limitation on the bagmarks indicating an even nicer grade. The devices were struck with such determined force by the dies that all design elements show boldly. Pop 1,179; 7 finer in 66 (PCGS # 9173) .
