1907 $20 St. Gaudens. High relief. PCGS graded MS-61. A pleasing example in a first generation PCGS slab. We note this is the wire rim variety. A typically sharp example of this always-popular first-year double eagle and the only year Saint-Gaudens piece in which the date is expressed in Roman numerals [MCMVII]. The warmly colored, green-gold and brilliant features are free of all but a few wispy handling marks. Perfect for Type Set purposes.
