Our readers have noted that we usually offer several High Relief double eagles in our sales; yet we are seldom given the chance to catalog an one graded as carefully and with as exacting standards as this beautiful Gem. This truly is a lovely coin. The smooth, satin-smooth surfaces are uninterrupted by even the tiniest carbon spot, and we are also unable to find an abrasion that needs to be singled out. Both sides are drenched in vivid color that further highlights the already inspiring eye appeal.
