1794 C-4a R3. EF-40. Small Edge Letters. Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown, the reverse a shade or two darker than the obverse. The surfaces are smooth and flawless. A beautiful early half cent. Nicely struck LDS, Manley state 4.0, with obvious swelling in the curls below the cap and a clear die crack from the dentils down through the M in AMERICA. Weight 102.1 grains.
