1794 C-4a R3. VF-30. Small Edge Letters. Choice glossy medium brown. Great surfaces and eye appeal. The best identifying marks are a small pinprick hidden under the first S in STATES and a dull, light rim nick at the second A in AMERICA. Nicely struck E-MDS, Manley state 2.0 with obverse die clashmarks but no swelling in the lower curls, which he says is rare. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CCW. Weight 99.1 grains.
