1969-A, $50 Federal Reserve SPECIMEN Note. . Fr-2115-H. PCGS graded Very Choice New 64 PPQ. Stamped SPECIMEN in red twice on the front and twice on the back. Possibly unique for the series and district.

Background brief: Before the government releases new bills, they send out specimens to various banks and dignitaries as a token of appreciation and to aid in the detection of bogus money. The various "Specimen" notes that have appeared on the market recently were found in Europe and certified by PCGS. For the most part, these are different denominations, series and districts.
