1869 Silver Three Cents. NGC graded MS-67. Only 4,500 pieces struck. Nice golden toning with some blue colors here and there plus a little two-tone contrast between the frosty star and semi-prooflike field. A well struck, immaculately preserved, and lustrous Superb Gem that has lovely mint bloom supporting the natural toning. Struck with exactitude using the required mathematical precision from the dies in which all areas, including the star ridges and shield design, are complete by a faithful successful strike. Pop 2; none finer at NGC (PCGS # 3689) .
