Collection of 216 Large Cents, 1794-1856, grading Basal State-1 to Fine-15. The early dates (117 pieces) mostly grade Basal State-1 to About Good-3 and include the following: 1794 (5), 1795 (7), 1796 (5), 1797 (7), 1798 (14), 1800 (8), 1801 (9), 1802 (20), 1803 (11), 1805 (4), 1806 (2), 1807 (8), 1808 (3), 1809 (1), 1810 (5), 1812 (5), 1813 (2), and 1814 (1). The remaining 99 pieces are from 1822 to 1856 and grade Basal State-1 to Fine-15, but most are Very Good or less. All but a few of the 216 pieces have a readable date, although many of the readable ones are not strong. Probably best to call this group an accumulation rather than a collection as there are obvious duplicates included, but there is a gold mine here for an internet seller willing to take the time to market them. Lot of 216 coins.
