1841 N-1 R5. PCGS graded Proof 64 Brown. A Proof-Only variety. Lovely bluish steel brown and chocolate with faded mint color showing through in the protected areas of the obverse. The fields are nicely reflective and free of any notable hairlines or fingerprints. The only defects are a couple tiny ticks at the tip of the nose and a small spot of shallow carbon at the right top of the second T in STATES. Sharply struck and quite attractive. EAC grade Proof-62.
