Pair of Counterstamped Early Coppers. Includes a Massachusetts Cents (1787 or 1788) stamped into a counterstamped 1807 Large Cent that was itself counterstamped "J. W. V" twice, plus an 1825 Large Cent counterstamped "2d P.F.C./LUCK" on the obverse and holed in the center. Perhaps this piece was kept by a soldier for luck during combat. Both are in low grade. Lot of 2 coins.
