Sharpness VF30 but there is a large, dull dent across the portrait from the hair ribbon to the chin, and this dent is strong enough to cause an obvious bulge along the bottom of CENT. Otherwise the surfaces and eye appeal of this cent are excellent. Glossy steel brown and chocolate with traces of mint luster in protected areas of the reverse. E-MDS, Breen state II, with a triangular cud break connecting the first 0 in the denominator to the rim below. A great cent if not for the dent.
