1798 S-149 R4+. About Good-3. Style I Hair with Large 8. Slightly sharper but lightly corroded. No significant marks, but there are two small patches of shallow greenish verdigris in the field at the tip of the nose and another on the nose. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with lighter brown highpoints from a light cleaning. The 8 in the date is clear but the other digits are faint. Most of the legends are clear. LDS, Breen state III, with extensive swelling on the reverse.
