1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree Threepence Noe-36 Rarity-4. VF-20. Sharpness near EF40 but a dent at the 5 in the date was repaired and a distorted 5 was fashioned in its place. The top of the oak tree at the opposing area was flattened by the dent, but the remainder of the tree is bold. Frosty light silvery gray and steel. The legends are strong on both sides, and they are complete except for the tops of VSE, which are tight to the rim. Weight 13.0 grains.
