Great Britain. Kings of All England. AR Penny, ND (Lincoln, struck Spring 1036-1038). North-802; S-1163. 1.14 grams. Harold I, 1035-1040 AD. Jewel Cross type. Moneyer, Padlos. Diademed and draped bust left; +HARO LD REC around. Reverse: Central cross of four ovals, joined at center by two circles, with pellet within; +PAÐLOS ON LNC: around. Finely struck, on a full flan of choice metal. Handsome medium, warm to smoky gray toning, very even. Quite lustrous. Very Rare, especially in this grade. NGC graded MS-62.
