Central circle, diademed and draped bust right within, scepter before; + ÆÐELRÆD REX ANGLORX around. Reverse: Central circle, Hand of Providence with curved and volute sleeve within, A W and pellets flanking; + ÆÐELRIC M-O BAÐAN around. Sharply struck, with bold details and stylish portrait, on choice flan. Attractive, smoky dark-gray toning. Rare in this grade. NGC graded AU-50.
