Second issue; struck during the reign of Offa, as Overlord. In three registers: AEDILHEARD ARCGI, pellets at bottom. Reverse: In three registers: at top, M between lunettes; in rest, + OFFA REX, pellets at bottom. Boldly struck with unusually clear legends, and almost perfectly centered, on choice metal. Attractive gold/russet to smokey gray toning, slightly lighter at centers, with residual luster. Extremely Rare. NGC graded AU-58.
