Peru. 8 Escudos, 1762-JM (Lima). Fr-24; KM-68. 27.03 grams. Charles III, 1759-1788. Small young bust. Draped and cuirassed bust of Carles III right, wearing Order of Golden Fleece. Reverse: Crowned arms, Order of Golden Fleece around. Excellent strike, with only two light of adjustment marks seen on obverse. Bright to velvety fields, and lustrous devices. Very Rare in this grade. NGC graded MS-62.

This is the first gold coin type of Charles III issued at the Lima mint. Just a two year type. Very diificult to find.
