Wilhelm II (1859-1941) Last Emperor of Germany. DS signed as King of Prussia, 1p, 13" x 8¼", Berlin, 1895 Jan. 18. Confirming the order of the Red Eagle for Gustav Ehrhardt. Some ink brushing to the exceptionally large signature; otherwise, very attractive. As part of the Armistice ending WWI, Wilhelm II was forced to abdicate, which he did on Nov. 28, 1918. Accompanied by an engraving.
