[Victoria Medal - Confederation of Canada]. Bronze, 76mm, by Wyon. Obverse has a diademed, draped and veiled bust of Queen Victoria, facing left, with "VICTORIA D:G:BRITT:REG:F:D. Reverse has Britannia seated with the British lion, showing a scroll inscribed CONFEDERATION to four females symbolizing agriculture, maritime affairs, mining, and timber growing. Around edge: JUVENTAS ET PATRIUS VIGOR CANADA INSTAURATA 1867. Very fine. (Brown, 2875).
