Napoleon I (1769-1821) French military and political leader who had an enormous impact on European history. LS ("Nap") as Emperor, 1p, in French, 9" x 7¼", Paris, 1811 Jan. 6. To the Duke de Feltre, Minister of War, approving the organization of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batallions of march for the Army of Spain, outlining the modications that he wanted, and placing General Quesnel in charge of forming the battalions. Fine.
