George VI and Queen Elizabeth. 4¾" x 6¼" Christmas Card Signed "Bertie" and "Elizabeth" below a 3¼" x 4¾" photograph of King George, Queen Elizabeth, and the princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. Written on the facing page is "With best wishes for Xmas 1936 and the New Year." Edward VIII had abdicated on December 11 and George succeeded to the throne at that time. The photographer, Warren (?) Adams signed in pencil with the date "1936" at the lower right edge of the photo. Light toning, else fine.
