APOLLO 11, 1969, MANNED FLIGHT AWARENESS MEDALLIONS. Issued for the 2nd Annivrsary of the Apollo 11 flight. The medallion "contains metal flown…". ALSO a similar medallion issued in honor of Apollo 8, two similar medallions issued in honor of ASTP and three similar medallions issued for STS-3. All of the medallions contain "flown" metal from their specific flight. ALSO three large bronze medallions issued for Apollo 11. An interesting lot.
