Ivory Figurine With Pearls. 9 1/8" high on a 3½" marble plinth. The woman holds a pearl in her left hand; two smaller pearls nestle in a gold band across her hair and in the middle of a small decorative area at the bottom front drape of her gown. Around her shoulders is a decorative girtle of gold with tiny stones of red and green (probably turquoise and coral); the same decorative pattern trails in a border down the front of the robe which she wears over a flowing gown; her hair is pulled back in a chignon which is held in a gold net. Slight yellowing to ivory on the back. A lovely, decorative figurine.
