A Group of Snuff Bottles and Two Jade Carvings. China, c. 19th - 20th century. Most in a glazed stoneware, one perhaps porcelain or bisque, plus examples in glass, stone, and ivory. Good luck symbols predominate as themes -- with knots, butterflies, fish, and floral symbols, plus a water lily or lotus shape to the bisque bottle. The brown agate bottle with carved maskette handles; and the glass with bold interior paintings of a tiger. The carvings: one, a bat on a gourd amid vines; the other, a bird amid foliage and fruits(?). Inspection recommended. Largest piece: 3-1/4". Lot of 9 items.
