Hammond Multiplex Typewriter, c. 1916. Hammond was the leader in early typewriter production and its design was one of the longest-lasting in typewriter history. The company debuted the Multiplex model in 1913, updated to feature two type shuttles to allow users to quickly switch fonts. This version, made in New York, features a unique rotary type wheel and an oak dust cover. Small chip to upper left side of cover, overwise in good condition and full working order.
