Lindberg, Pelle (1959-1985) Swedish-born Philadelphia Flyers goalie from 1982-85. His tragic death as a result of a Nov. 1985 car accident inspired this piece of original music and lyrics. Given to Lindberg's back-up goalie, Bob Froese, by the "Women Against Drunk Driving" of Stockholm, Sweden, and the 16 Chapters of Pennsylvania, it was later given to Pelle's best friend, Flyer's medical staff member Dr. Steve Rosenberg. This rare piece is the only one of its kind in existence and has never been offered for sale. Includes three taped music sheets, 11" x 25½", matted and framed to an overall size of 19½" x 34" (no glass). Comes with the original envelope addressed to Froese, also matted and framed to 18½" x 21½".
Estimated Value $300 - 500.
