North Pennsylvania Railroad & Subsidiary Lines - Ticket Sample Book. Approximately 1,200 complete, different tickets, c. 1875, affixed to pages in an album with "Ticket Samples" on the front. Every different ticket is included with all of the stubs intact. Subsidiary railroads named on the tickets include: Delaware and Bound Brook RR, New York & Philad'a New Line, Central RR of New Jersey, Lehigh Valley RR, N.Y. New Haven & Hartford RR, New York & New England RR, Concord RR of New Hampshire, Boston, Hartford & Erie RR, and others, as well as the Stonington Steamboat Co. The album is falling apart and the pages are brittle and chipping, but the tickets themselves are in very good to fine condition. This is a real treasure of railroad Americana.
