South Carolina. Feb. 8, 1779 $90. PCGS graded Apparent Very Fine 25, Edge Splits at Top and Bottom Center. . Fr-SC-158. Printed by Thomas Coram of Charleston, this issue is one of the more elegantly engraved and popularly collected series in all Colonial Currency. This denomination features a vignette on back of Hercules strangling a lion. A couple of edge splits do not severely detract.
