Lot 2214

1918-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Nice frosty coin with a hint of light gold tone. Housed in an old green holder. Normal soft strike in the center obverse. Whether you live in a palace or reside in a rental apartment, the beauty of this coin's design transcends everything. Production increased in 1917-18 during the height of the first World War. But as many (most?) of these got into circulation, and as there were few collectors or hoarders back in those days, Mint State specimens are necessarily scarce (PCGS # 6576) .
Estimated Value $3,500 - 3,700.

Realized $4,140
