Lot 1800

1909-S Lincoln Cent. VDB. PCGS graded MS-64 Red. Popular key date. Light brown and some mint red. The full portrait of Lincoln is clear of marks or toning spots. If readers will pardon the expression, this is the ideal of the present-day collecting demand where the careful buyer hopes to eliminate anything problematic when assembling a high-grade set of Lincoln cents (and rightly so). First-rate color for its grade, first-in-its-class strike and surface condition as well (PCGS # 2428) .
Estimated Value $2,800 - 3,000.

Realized $2,990
