1796 S-116 R5-. VG-7. Draped Bust. Close to VG8. Slightly glossy chocolate brown with slightly lighter steel brown toning on the devices. The surfaces are decent but a strong glass reveals extremely fine granularity under the attractive patina. No verdigris, only a few minor contact marks, including a shallow scratch in the field before the eyebrow and a couple more in the field under the hair ribbon. The date and legends are clear, although the tops of a few letters are starting to flow into the rim. LDS, Breen state II.
