1796 S-84 R3. VG-10. Liberty Cap type. Sharper by at least 5 points but covered with very fine roughness that's mostly hidden under a rather glossy dark olive and chocolate brown patina. The roughness is strongest on the reverse, but there is no notable verdigris. The only mark of any significance is a rim bruise just right of the date. The date and legends are complete and clear.
